Last Sunday we had our annual Holloway Christmas party at my Granny and Papa's house. All the families on my Mom's side get together, eat, visit and play a gift exchange game. I forgot to take my camera with me and am so sorry because we had so much fun watching Brynlee be the life of the party. Her stints included; choosing almost everyone's gift to open, helping them open the gift, kicking a gift across the room (only after her daddy asked her if she remembered how to kick like he showed her when my dad stole his gift...everyone was rolling with laughter), showing empathy to Granny after my cousin Caleb stole her gift (she responded, "oh, he took it from you didn't he Granny" and giving Caleb a disapproving look...again rolling laughter) and just being her merry little self.

Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree...although a little nontraditional. Brynlee also got to open her gift from Granny and Papa which was this amazing pink tree and a basket of ornaments that Mimi and Granny had refurbished. She couldn't wait to decorate her tree and asked us about 15 times on the way home if she could decorate as soon as we got home. Although it was getting late we couldn't resist her excitement and let her have at it as soon as we got home.
