He loved to rip the paper off, yell loudly and hold it high in the air. He was so proud of that paper...the two helpers however, knew where the real prize was and were sure to help him get there.
Brynlee's favorite things: playing dress-up, playing make-believe, chocolate milk, and being with her family!
The Little Brother-2
Quinton's favorite things: playing chase, popcorn, his cuddly blankets, and driving his sister crazy by getting into the middle of everything she does!
The Things She Says
I have a girlfirend who is always prompting me to write down the things Bryn says or does that are worthy of note-do I always do this...not like I should. After I saw this done on a friend's blog I decided to "borrow" the idea and I will now hopefully remember to write them down more often.
While playing My Little Ponies in her room she says to me:
Brynlee: MMM, Mommy it smells good in here...like sour cream!
Me: Really?? Sour cream?
Brynlee: Yeah, like rice and beans and sour cream!
Me: (actually kind of speechless and chuckling to myself)
Brynlee: (turning away from me and playing with her toys) Yeah, it's pretty amazing.
--Brynlee loves sour cream and likes to eat it plain with a spoon beside her food--
Brynlee's new saying when she's thankful; "Thank you really much"
Brynlee: Oh Mommy you are my pretty girl
Mommy: Thank you Bryn, you are my pretty girl too
Brynlee: I know Mommy
At lunch I told Brynlee we were going to have leftovers. She looked at me with a very serious face and said, "Leopards, we don't have leopards for lunch"! (I guess we don't hear that word very often around here.)
"Do you want to see my "new brand" dollhouse?"
"Oh, thank you for my "new brand" shirt!"
While playing with her brother in the other room, we hear her shout, "Hey Dad, we are havin' a little trouble here!" (Something about the grown-up tone in her voice had us both laughing.)
I am loving it that Brynlee calls the drvie-thru at restaurants the driveway. "Oops Daddy, Quinton is sleeping, we can't go in, we will have to go through the driveway!"
