Surgery Set

Looks like Brynlee will be having her tonsils out on March 17th. Won't that be a fun spring break?!? We were thinking February but decided it would be better when I could stay home with her and not miss much work--not that tonsil and adenoid removal are major surgery--just want to be there if my baby girl (who isn't a baby at all anymore) is hurting. A childhood friend of mine's son, who is 3, just had heart surgery (he is doing well) and has had several since he was born and I find myself wondering how she prepares herself; I am anxious about a 30 minute common procedure. I am sure if I ask her she will say 'prayer, lots and lots of prayer'!

Parker had a little minor 30 min surgery on his ear when he was 2 and I so remember how hard it was as a mom..... With Ashton I had to give it all to God. I honestly look back and have no idea how we got through it when he was born. I truly believe it was the prayers and warm thoughts of every one who loves us. So right back at you babe! I will pray for your angel and for her mommy to feel as calm as possible. Love ya lots!

Prayer works!! That is the only thing that has gotten us through the surgeries and hospital stays. She (and your two) will do GREAT! Keep us posted!
