Potty Taining 101

Holy cow! What a week. We decided to jump head on into potty training-no turning back. So far we are doing okay, although I am not sure who is really getting "trained" at the moment. Brynlee is still pretty determined that things will go her way(like this should surprise us) and often pitches a fit when we take her potty. But, after talking with a friend who is also in the process she suggested that we just take her and not ask (thanks Alycia)--this has proved to be beneficial and we only had 2 accidents today and we were out of the house all day. YEAH!!! I just want her mostly potty trained before the baby comes, so we will keep trying.
We took Bryn to the ears, nose and throat doctor today after being referred by her physician because of repeated ear infections and signs of sleep apnea. The doctor told me her tonsils are "monsters" and that she is pretty much "all tonsil back there". With that said, he wants her to have them out because she already has some scar tissue built up in her ears from the infections, which are being caused partly because of her enlarged tonsils and adenoids. So, it looks like in February some time she will be having them removed. Steve and I are a little nervous and hate the thought of her being in pain, but know that in the long run it will be worth it. We will keep you posted (no pun intended).
P.S. Baby belly pictures coming soon!

Good for you! I was hoping for another phone call...just an excuse to talk to you, but I am glad that the week went well. We will be praying for Bryn and her upcoming surgery.

Love you guys!
